WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO MAKE MUSIC?
I’m inspired by all parts of the process. Writing songs and collaborating with friends as well, the recording process and the time spent creating in studio as well as playing shows, festivals and getting to travel internationally for tours year after year. Music has been so rewarding to me and just pushes me to keep at it.
IF YOU COULD COLLABORATE WITH ANY MUSICIAN, WHO WOULD IT BE, AND WHY?
Ozzy Osbourne! He would be the dream collaborator for any huge metal and Sabbath fan. I really like collaborating with anyone though and am always up for making music and doing new things with new people. Most of the best stuff I’ve ever been apart of musically has been due to collaborating and writing songs together with people
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL AND WHY?
My favourite cymbals are the Zildjian A custom range! I just love the way they sound, They are always amazing live and record really well in studio and just have that classic sound to them, they’re bright and cut through any mix and are very versatile and work for any genre. My Standout cymbals I couldn’t live without are the A Custom Mega Bell Ride, A custom 20″ Crash, and the 18″ Oriental china. Those are definitely my favourites.
