FAQs
Does it work with my phone?
Yes. The receiver connects over USB-C to Android phones, iPhones and computers, and the box includes cables for USB-C and Lightning devices. On iPhone you can record directly in the free RØDE Capture app.
Can I use the Lavalier GO instead of the transmitter's built-in mic?
Yes. Plug the Lavalier GO into the transmitter's 3.5mm input and it takes over from the built-in mic automatically.
Can I add a second transmitter later?
Yes. The receiver pairs with an additional Wireless ME transmitter, or any other RØDE Series IV transmitter, for up to three microphones at once.
Do I need an app to use it?
No. It works straight out of the box. RØDE Central is a free optional app for adjusting settings and updating firmware.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 7 hours per charge on both the transmitter and the receiver. Both charge over USB-C.

What's actually different from the single Wireless ME?
Only the second transmitter and the extra accessories that go with it. The receiver, the features and the sound are identical.
Can I use the Lavalier GO and the Interview GO at the same time?
Yes. Each transmitter is independent, so one guest can wear the Lavalier GO while the other holds the Interview GO.
Do the two transmitters need to be set up separately?
No. Both arrive paired to the receiver. Switch all three on and they connect automatically.
Is the Dual a good fit for podcasts?
Yes, for two-person recordings on camera or into a phone or computer. It also pairs with the RØDECaster Pro II and RØDECaster Duo if you later move to a dedicated podcast set-up.

Does it need its own battery?
No. It's powered by the transmitter or device it's plugged into.
Will the transmitter's built-in mic still record when the Lavalier GO is plugged in?
No. Plugging in the Lavalier GO switches the transmitter to the lav automatically, so you only ever record one source per transmitter.
Can I use it with something other than the Wireless ME?
Yes. It works with any camera, recorder or device that has a 3.5mm TRS microphone input.

Does the Interview GO have its own microphone?
No. It's a handle and windshield for the Wireless ME transmitter, which does the recording.
Does the windshield come off?
Yes. It's removable, and it can be swapped for the furry windshield from the Wireless ME box in windy conditions.
Will it still fit if I upgrade my wireless system later?
Yes. It fits every RØDE Series IV transmitter, including the Wireless GO (Gen 3) and Wireless PRO.
