Eligibility: The giveaway is open to residents of South Africa who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Mapex South Africa, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate.

Entry Period: The giveaway begins on 1 July 2024 and ends on 31 July 2024 at 11:59 PM (local time). Entries received after this date and time will not be considered.

How to Enter: Participants must complete and submit the online entry form available at http://musicaldistributors.co.za/mapex-comet-giveaway. Only one entry per person is allowed. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Prize: One (1) winner will be randomly selected to receive one (1) Mapex Comet kit (CM5294FTC). The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The colour of the kit won is subject to availability.

Winner Selection and Notification: The winner will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of Mapex South Africa. The winner will be notified via email within five (5) days following the selection of the winner. Mapex South Africa shall have no liability for the winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for the winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

Claiming the Prize: If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within five (5) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The prize will be sent to the winner’s nearest music instrument retailer in South Africa.

Publicity: By entering this giveaway, participants agree to allow Mapex South Africa to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

General Conditions: Mapex South Africa reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Mapex South Africa’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway. In such case, Mapex South Africa may select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Mapex South Africa.

Limitation of Liability: By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Mapex South Africa and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from participation in the giveaway and/or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

Disputes: THIS GIVEAWAY IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF SOUTH AFRICA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this giveaway, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in South Africa having jurisdiction.
