Eligibility: The giveaway is open to residents of South Africa who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Vic Firth, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate.

Entry Period: The giveaway begins on 1 June 2024 and ends on 31 July 2024 at 11:59 PM (local time). Entries received after this date and time will not be considered.

How to Enter: Participants must complete and submit the online entry form available at http://musicaldistributors.co.za/vic-firth-terra-sticks-competition/. Only one entry per person is allowed. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Prize: Three (3) winners will be randomly selected to receive three (3) pairs of Vic Firth drumsticks each. The total number of prizes is nine pairs of drumsticks. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of Vic Firth. Winners will be notified via email within five (5) days following the selection of the winners. Vic Firth shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

Claiming the Prize: If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within five (5) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The prize will be sent to the winner’s nearest music instrument retailer in South Africa. Items as part of the prize are subject to availability.

Publicity: By entering this giveaway, participants agree to allow Vic Firth to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

General Conditions: Vic Firth reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Vic Firth’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway. In such case, Vic Firth may select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Vic Firth.

Limitation of Liability: By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Vic Firth and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from participation in the giveaway and/or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

Disputes: THIS GIVEAWAY IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF SOUTH AFRICA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this giveaway, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in South Africa having jurisdiction.
